FacePunch TOS:
Please take time to read and understand the FacePunch Rust TOS as these rules apply across all servers within Rust. If someone is breaking any of the rules listed there, use the F7 function in-game to report the player, even for conduct-related matters. Also, we recommend using the in-game mute function for any individual players you are having issues with.
You will be issued a server ban for breaking FacePunch TOS.

VAC/Game Ban Policy:
Players who attempt to connect to the server on a Steam account with any VAC/Game bans will have their SteamID permanently banned. Players who share unique identifiers with an account that has a VAC/Game ban under 3 years old will be suspended until the VAC/Game ban on the other Steam account has reached 3 years old.
There are no appeals or exceptions to bans placed under this policy.

VPN Policy:
We do not allow people to use VPNs. We understand that VPNs are very commonly used nowadays to hide your general web traffic from your ISP, contact us to review any bans associated with this policy. Note that services like GeForce NOW and Shadow are viewed VPNs as well. A brief suspension will be placed on any players connecting from a detected VPN as to prevent players from attempting to circumvent this policy.
Server-issued suspensions for VPN connections are for 7 days unless the admin reviews and adjusts.

New Steam Accounts:
Although we allow new accounts to connect to the server, if your profile is not completed the server will automatically kick you.
There are no server-issued bans for new Steam accounts.

Age Policy:

Rust is rated Mature by the ESRB. Due to the content and nature of the game, and in order to protect minors, you must have a parent sign a consent form to allow you to play on our server if you are under the age of 18. We will only be accepting in-game global chat, Discord chat from within our own Discord Server, or voice chat witnessed by an admin or moderator as evidence that a user is in violation of the age policy due to the inability to accurately determine a users age by actions, voice (voice changers are common), or other reasons.
Suspensions under the age policy are permanent until signed parental consent or identification proving the user is 18 or older is provided.

Server Team Limits:
PICKLE DUO has a 2-man team limit.
PICKLE QUAD has a 4-man team limit.
PICKLE VANILLA and EZ have no team limit.

Server Rules:

1. Team Limits:

  • You cannot exceed the servers above listed team limit at any time. This includes but is not limited to Gathering/Trading/Roaming/Conversing Together/Comparing Dick Size/Raiding/Dancing/Scouting/Countering/Partying and/or completing Monuments with other team members/allies/friends/acquaintances/alt accounts/frenemies etc. unless you are actively trying to kill one another, in a safe zone or at a community/server event preapproved by the administrators for the entirety of the time you are in a group over the server limit.
  • We will consider sharing/combining resources as teaming. You should not be giving/trading unreasonable and/or high amounts of items such as sulfur, explosives, rockets, timed explosives etc. with any other players on our Duo/Quad server or it may be seen as exceeding the team limits.
  • Using the in-game “green dot” team function to properly track teammates and allies is recommended and can help you avoid going over the team limit. You will not be moderated for the number of players in your “green dot” team. We may use players who are in your current or past teams to determine who are allied players.

Exceeding the Team Limit will result in a 24 hour (1 day) suspension.

  • Breaking the Team Limit rules during any activity that involved PvP/PvE, completing monuments, or raiding as well as sharing/combining raiding resources will result in an additional 14 day (2 week) period being added on top of the standard suspension period.
  • For each additional player over the team limit +1 an additional 96 hour (4 day) period will be added on top of the standard suspension period.

2. Base Authorizations:

  • You may not have more than the servers listed team limit authorized on any TC/Lock/Trap and/or assigned a bag/bed (there is no limit on beds/bags in your base, only players assigned to beds/bags). The combined number of players authorized on items within the base cannot exceed the servers' above listed team limit.
  • We will take care not to moderate over the limit authorizations on visibly decayed/raided bases with unlocked TCs.

Exceeding the Base Authorization limit will result in a 24 hour (1 day) suspension.

  • Every 10 authorization warnings that go uncorrected will result in an additional 24 hour (1 day) period being added on top of the standard suspension period.
  • For each additional player over the base auth limit +1 an additional 96 hour (4 day) period will be added on top of the standard suspension period.

3. Allied Base Distance Limits:

  • Bases of allies must be at least 2 squares away from any other bases of yours, your team members, or other allies.
  • We do not consider single foundations with only a Tool Cupboard and no other items (AKA External TC’s) or items designed to be placed outside (Large Furnaces/Refineries/Windmills/External walls) a “base” so these will not be considered in the 2 square rule.

Exceeding the allied base distance limits will result in a 48 hour (2 day) suspension.

4. Detected hardware/software cheating

  • We do not tolerate any hardware/software cheating/hacks (ESP hacks, Recoil Scripting, Blacklisted devices such as Bloody Mouse, etc.).
  • We do not ban for association with hardware/software cheaters unless we decide that the remaining team members are actively assisting the cheater with circumventing the ban or we have proof they were aware of the banned player cheating and/or facilitated it and did not notify us.

Bans for detected hardware/software cheating are permanent and can not be appealed.

4B. Self-proclaimed hardware/software cheating

  • We take cheating very seriously. Portraying yourself as using hardware/software cheats/hacks will result in a permanent ban. This is to remove players who hurt the health of the server by starting rumors that they are openly cheating without administrative action being taken which hurts the perception of the server to new and existing players.
  • If a player was banned under 4B we will accept an appeal. The appeal will involve a review of player files to make a determination on if the permanent ban should stay in place. The decision is final and is made at the administrator's discretion.

5. Miscellaneous

  • Toxicity, where players are impacting the entire server, is not allowed. An example would be spamming a message in chat. Additionally, we will not moderate for language unless the language is excessive, we invite you to take advantage of the Pickle Filter which filters most common words. Bypassing the filter will not lead to moderation but doing so in excess could lead to a server mute.
  • We work extremely hard to create a server that is enjoyable for all players. We understand that sometimes you may not be happy or agree with our decisions and we invite you to reach out to us via the report form on our website to voice your concerns. Defamation (such as slander or libel) of the server is not tolerated in-game or on our public channels and will be moderated at our discretion. Players who often do this are only seeking to frustrate other players on the server or our staff. They make it clear through their messages that they are extremely unsatisfied on the server yet continue to play which further shows they are only trying to impact the entire server with their toxicity.
  • Offensive materials on in-game items are not allowed, admins or moderators may change or destroy these items without warning.
  • Real-life threats are not allowed. We will take action on threats based on their severity. Any attempts to dox a person that we determine are to cause physical/mental harm to someone will be treated the same. We consider doxing as releasing information that is gathered from sources from outside of Steam/Rust. Action will only be taken under this point if the information is deemed credible and is not just hearsay.
  • "Stream Sniping" is strongly discouraged but is not moderated unless other above rules are being violated. Currently we are working with content creators and the community to form solid policies around this activity. More to come in the coming months.

Moderation for Rule 5 violations can vary from a server mute to temporary suspensions or permanent bans based on the severity of the violation.

Ban Process:
We pride ourselves on verifying and collecting enough evidence before issuing bans. We will not ban players for hearsay or without proof that rules were violated, if you are banned you should understand that it was determined warranted. The duration of a ban depends on the violation (listed above). We will make attempts to close base doors and deposit loot from any player characters who may have been banned while outside of their base however this is done as a courtesy gesture of goodwill and is not guaranteed. Attempts should be made to privately send the coordinates of your base(s) to the moderators by filing a report through our website as otherwise, we may be unable to locate your base. We are not responsible for any issues that arise during the period of your ban/appeal, this includes raids/PvP interactions occurring at the time of the ban or to players "sleeping" after being disconnected.

A second ban for any violation involving team/base/allied distance limits will be permanent with limited options to appeal directly to administrators.  Any third violations are permanent with no appeal.
